Flock to Bruce Spruce

Bruce Spruce Ranch in Pagosa Springs, Colorado is a special place.  A really special place.  It's the kind of place that you want your kids to remember for the rest of their lives.

It has been run by the same family for decades and many of the people we met there had been visiting annually for decades.  That kind of special.

We now know why the Cragers love it so much.  We are so thankful to them for the recommendation.

This is the view pretty much everywhere.

These guys flock to the six feeders in front of the office.

They are so fun to photograph.

Austin learned to play washers.

When I stepped into the laundry room, I took one whiff and began to cry.  It smelled exactly like my grandma's wash room.

Aw.

Trees, trees, trees.

The icy cold river in which the kids promptly drenched themselves.

"Am I supposed to look adorable?" he asks.

Hi blog.  May the seeds of these adventures spread far and wide.  And btw, this bloom was as big as a tangerine.

You can see Bruce Spruce down there some where.

Thanks Fran! This place in particular reminded Michael and I so much of you and Jen. It seemed like the kind of place you guys might run. The family loved their land, built some of the cabins themselves and seemed to love hosting people. Michael and I were imagining what you and Jen would do with a similar space in Scotland, maybe? :)
AND one of the sons who helped run the place looked almost exactly like you!!!
